Defence Adviser High Commission of India in Sri Lanka, Captain Vikas Sood. Paid a courtesy call on the Director General of Sri Lanka Coast Guard, Rear Admiral Samantha Wimalathunge,RWP,VSV,USP,nswc,MSc(DS)Mgt on 10th August 2020 at Sri Lanka Coast Guard Rear Headquarters, Wellawatte.
Cordial discussions were held focused on the matters of mutual interest and exchanged mementos signifying the event. Sri Lanka Coast Guard has been maintaining close cooperation and good relationship with the Indian Government, Indian Navy as well as Indian Coast Guard and this call on will surely enhance the bilateral cooperation.
