Lieutenant Commander Sujan Menikge assumed duties as the new commanding officer of the SLCG Fast Patrol Vessel SLCGS Samaraksha on 02nd July 2021.
The former Commanding Officer of the ship, Lieutenant Commander Yasith Manawadu officially handed over the duties to his successor at the Port of Galle in a simple ceremony due to prevailing pandemic situation.
