Coast Guard personnel attached to Fishing Monitoring Point of Kalpitiya, arrested a person in possession of Crystal Methamphetamine at Kalpitiya Fishery Harbour on 05th November 2021.
During the departure formalities of a multiday fishing vessel, Coast Guard personnel found 70 mg of Crystal Methamphetamine concealed inside the personal luggage of the fisherman. Arrested suspect and apprehended Crystal Methamphetamine handed over to the Police Station, Kalpitiya for further investigations/ Legal action.
