The Life Savers attached to Coast Guard Life Saving Post, Mirissa rescued a 20 years old Indian female during a successful rescue attempt on 01st April 2022. She was rescued whilst drowning and dragging away by currents near Mirissa Beach.
So far, Sri Lanka Coast Guard life savers have rescued a total of 1703 invaluable lives including 738 foreigners in a number of successful rescue attempts.
