The Life Savers attached to Coast Guard Life Saving Post, Mirissa rescued a 19 years old England male during a successful rescue attempt on 30th April 2022. He was rescued whilst drowning and dragging away by currents near Mirissa Beach
So far, Sri Lanka Coast Guard lifesavers have rescued a total of 1710 invaluable lives including 743 foreigners in a number of successful rescue attempts.
