Fast Patrol Boat CG 402 attached to Coast Guard Northern Region apprehended three local fishermen with a fast-moving Fiber Glass Dinghy (FGD) while transferring 06 numbers of sacks containing 76 parcels of Kerala cannabis at the West of Delft island sea area on 04th April 2023.
While doing sea patrol, CG 402 detected a rapidly moving FGD coming from Indian waters crossing the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL). Subsequently, CG 402 intercepted the moving boat and found 06 sacks of Kerala cannabis packed in 76 parcels (approximately 277.88 kg).
The arrested suspects and apprehended items were handed over to the Police Station, Delft for further investigations/ Legal action.
