COMMANDER (C) ROHAN SENARATHNE ASSUMED DUTIES AS THE COMMANDING OFFICER OF THE SRI LANKA COAST GUARD ROHANA & THE REGIONAL DIRECTOR SOUTHERN REGION

The Sri Lanka Coast Guard (SLCG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Commander (C) Rohan Senarathne as the Commanding Officer of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard Rohana & the Regional Director, Southern Region on 08^th January 2025. Commander (C) Rohan Senarathne officially assumed his duties in a formal ceremony and paid a courtesy call on the Director General of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard, Rear Admiral Rajapriya Serasinghe, at the SLCG Headquarters, Mirissa.

Before taking over the duties at SLCG Rohana, Commander (C) Rohan Senarathne performed duties as Executive Officer of SLNS Mahasen.

Captain (C) Inesh Preethimal, who held the appointment previously, relinquished his duties on the same day after completing nearly eleven months of service in the Sri Lanka Coast Guard.
