CTF 150 COMMANDER COMMODORE RODGER WARD PAYS COURTESY CALL ON DIRECTOR GENERAL - SLCG

Commodore Rodger Ward, Commander of Combined Task Force 150 (CTF 150) paid a courtesy call on Rear Admiral Rajapriya Serasinghe, Director General of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard (SLCG) on 24^th March at the Coast Guard Rear Headquarters in Wellawatte.

During the meeting both officials engaged in discussions on strengthening maritime security cooperation, enhancing operational capabilities and collaborative efforts in maritime law enforcement and environmental protection. A key point of discussion was the potential for the Sri Lanka Coast Guard to begin operational contributions to the Combined Maritime Forces (CMF) focusing on areas of mutual interest such as countering maritime crime and ensuring regional maritime stability.

The visit concluded with an exchange of mementos between two parties, symbolizing the commitment to fostering continued partnership and cooperation in maritime security.
