SLCGS SURAKSHA CONDUCTS SOCIAL CHARITY PROGRAMME

In celebration of its 08^th Ship’s Anniversary Day, the Commanding Officer and ship’s crew of SLCGS Suraksha organized a social charity programme at the ACCC Child Development Center, Ragama on 14^th October 2025.

As part of this initiative, the ship’s crew engaged in cleaning and minor repairs within the premises and donated essential items to the center. The event reflected the crew’s deep sense of social responsibility and compassion toward the community.

This noble gesture not only marked Suraksha’s anniversary with purpose but also strengthened the Coast Guard’s commitment to community welfare and humanitarian service—values that lie at the heart of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard.
