ONE PERSON ARRESTED WITH ILLEGAL DRUGS AND FOREIGN CIGARETTES.
Based on credible information, SLCG conducted a special operation in collaboration with Tissamaharama Police on 31st October 2025 in Tissamaharama area and arrested one person in possession of a stock of 830 milligrams of crystal methamphetamine, 25 grams of local cannabis seeds, 13 foreign-manufactured cigarettes, and a device used for consuming crystal methamphetamine.
The suspect, along with the seized substances and equipment, was handed over to the Tissamaharama Police for further investigation and legal proceedings.

ශ්රී ලංකා වෙරළ ආරක්ෂක දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව, තිස්සමහාරාම පොලිසිය හා එක්ව 2025 ඔක්තෝබර් මස 31 වන දින තිස්සමහාරාම ප්රදේශයේ සිදුකල විශේෂ ඒකාබද්ධ සෝදිසි මෙහෙයුමක් මඟින් නිවසක් තුල නීති විරෝධි ලෙස සඟවා තබාගත් අයිස් මත්ද්රව්ය මිලිග්රෑම් 830ක්, දේශීය කංසා බීඡ ග්රෑම් 25ක් සහ විදේශීය දුම්වැටි 13ක් සහ අයිස් මත්ද්රව්ය ශරීරගත කිරීම සඳහා භාවිතා කරන උපකරණයක් සමඟ සැකකරුවෙකු අත්අඩංගුවට ගැනීමට කටයුතු කෙරිණි.
මෙම මෙහෙයුම මඟින් අත්අඩංගුවට ගන්නා ලද සැකකරු, මත්ද්රව්ය තොගය සහ උපකරණය වැඩිදුර විමර්ශණ සහ නීතිමය කටයුතු සඳහා තිස්සමහාරාම පොලිසිය වෙත භාරදීමට කටයුතු කෙරිණි.
