The awarding of the 75th Sri Lanka Navy Anniversary Medal to officers and sailors of the Coast Guard was held today (09 December 2025) at the Coast Guard Headquarters.
This medal is presented to serving members of the Sri Lanka Navy to commemorate its 75th long journey. Accordingly, the 75th Navy Anniversary Medal was symbolically awarded to fifteen (15) officers and sailors attached to the Sri Lanka Coast Guard. The medals were presented by the Deputy Director General of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard, Commodore Prasad Jayasinghe, at the ceremony held today (09 December 2025) at Sri Lanka Coast Guard Headquarters, Mirissa in the presence of Coast Guard officers and sailors.
ශ්රී ලංකා වෙරළ ආරක්ෂක දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ නිළධාරින් වෙත 75 වන නාවික හමුදා සංවත්සරික පදක්කම පිරිනැමිම අද (2025 දෙසැම්බර් මස 09) දින ශ්රී ලංකා වෙරළ ආරක්ෂක දෙපාර්තමේන්තු මුලස්ථානයේදි සිදු කෙරිණි.
වසර 75 ක් පුරා ශ්රී ලංකා නාවික හමුදාව පැමිණි ගමන් මඟ සනිටුහන් කිරිම සඳහා එහි සාමාජීකයින් වෙත ප්රධානය කරන ලද 75 වන නාවික හමුදා සංවත්සරික පදක්කම වෙරළ ආරක්ෂක දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවට අනුයුක්ත නිළධාරින් සහ නාවිකයින් පහලොස් (15) දෙනෙකු වෙනුවෙන් වෙරළ ආරක්ෂක දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ නියෝජ්ය අධ්යක්ෂ ජෙනරාල් කොමදෝරු ප්රසාද් ජයසිංහ විසින් පැළදවීම අද (2025 දෙසැම්බර් මස 09) දින මිරිස්ස වෙරළ ආරක්ෂක දෙපාර්තමේන්තු මුලස්ථානයේදි සිදු කෙරුනු අතර මෙම අවස්ථාව සඳහා වෙරළ ආරක්ෂක දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ නිළධාරින් සහ සෙසු නිළයන් රැසක් සහභාගි වී සිටියහ.
