As part of a series of coastal clean-up programmes implemented by the Sri Lanka Coast Guard with the objective of realizing the national vision of “A Beautiful Coastline – An Attractive Tourist Destination, the ‘Dutch Bay’ Trincomalee beach area was cleaned by the Coast Guard personnel attached to SLCGS Jayesagara and Regional Director Eastern Region on 20th December 2025.
“සුන්දර වෙරළ තීරයක් - ආකර්ෂණීය සංචාරක ගමනාන්තයක්”, ජාතික දැක්ම සාක්ෂාත් කරගැනීමේ අරමුණින් ශ්රී ලංකා වෙරළ ආරක්ෂක දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව විසින් ක්රියාත්මක කරගෙන යනු ලබන වෙරළ පිරිසිදු කිරිමේ වැඩසටහන් මාළාවේ තවත් එක් වැඩසටහනක් ත්රීකුණාමලය ‘Dutch Bay’ වෙරළ තීරය ආවරණය වන පරිදි ක්රියාවට නැංවිම සඳහා වෙරළ ආරක්ෂක නෞකා ‘ජයසාගර’ සහ වෙරළ ආරක්ෂක දෙපාර්තමේන්තු නැගෙනහිර ප්රාදේශිකයට අයත් වෙරළ ආරක්ෂක පුද්ගලයන් විසින් අද (2025 දෙසැම්බර් මස 20 වන) දින කටයුතු කෙරිණි.
