Coast Guard lifesavers promptly responded and rescued three (03) locals, including a female who were in danger of drowning in the seas off Mount Lavinia on 07th January 2026.
The rescued individuals were between the ages 25 and 27 years.
ශ්රී ලංකා වෙරළ ආරක්ෂක දෙපාර්තමේන්තු ජීවිතාරක්ෂක නිලධාරීන් විසින් 2026 ජනවාරි මස 07වන දින ගල්කිස්ස මුහුදේ සිදුකල ජිවිතාරක්ෂක මෙහෙයුමක් මඟින් දියේ ගිලී අනතුරට ලක්ව සිටි ශ්රී ලාංකික කාන්තාවක් ඇතුළු තිදෙනෙකු නිරුපද්රිතව බේරා ගැනීමට සමත්විය.
තවද, මෙම මෙහෙයුම මඟින් දිවි ගලවාගත් පුද්ගලයින් වයස අවුරුදු 25 ත් 27 ත් අතර වයසේ පසුවන බවට හඳුනා ගන්නා ලදි.
