The annual feast of St. Anthony’s Church, Palaithivu Island was held on 06th and 07th March 2026, drawing a large number of Sri Lankan devotees.
The Sri Lanka Coast Guard assisted the Northern Naval Command by deploying lifesavers to ensure safety of devotees.
The Coast Guard lifesavers deployed along the coastal belt of Sri Lanka have saved over 2592 lives since 2010.
පලෙයිතිවු ශාන්ත අන්තෝනි මුනිඳුන්ගේ දේවස්ථානයේ වාර්ෂික දේව මංගල්යය, ශ්රී ලාංකික බැතිමතුන් විශාල පිරිසකගේ සහභාගීත්වයෙන් 2026 මාර්තු මස 06 සහ 07 දෙදින උත්කර්ෂවත් අයුරින් පැවැත්විණි.
තවද, මෙම මංගල්යය සාර්ථකව සිදු කිරීම සඳහා උතුරු නාවික විධානය හා එක්ව ශ්රී ලාංකික බැතිමතුන්ගේ ජීවිතාරක්ෂාව වෙනුවෙන් ජීවිතාරක්ෂක පුද්ගලයින් යෙදවීම ශ්රී ලංකා වෙරළ ආරක්ෂක දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව විසින් සිදුකෙරිණි
එමෙන්ම 2010 වර්ෂයේ වෙරළ ආරක්ෂක දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව පිහිටුවීමෙන් අනතුරුව අද දක්වා ජිවිත 2592 ක ප්රමාණයක් බේරාගැනීමට කටයුතු කර ඇත.
