The Sri Lanka Coast Guard personnel in coordination with the officers of the Divisional Crime Detective Bureau (Mt.Lavinia), arrested a person along with PREGABALIN capsules during a search operation carried out in Egodauyana, Moratuwa today (04th May 2026).
The suspect was in possession of 300 Pregabalin capsules, which were ready for sale at his residence.
Arrested suspect along with the capsules were handed over to the Mount Lavinia Police station for legal proceedings.
ශ්රී ලංකා වෙරළ ආරක්ෂක දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව, ගල්කිස්ස කොට්ඨාශ අපරාධ විමර්ශන ඒකකයේ නිලධාරීන් හා එක්ව අද දින (2026 මැයි මස 04) මොරටුව, එගොඩඋයන ප්රදේශයේ සිදුකල ඒකාබද්ධ සෝදිසි මෙහෙයුමකදි නිවසක් තුල අලෙවිකිරීම සඳහා සූදානම්කර සඟවා තිබූ PREGABALIN වර්ගයේ මත්පෙති 300ක් සමඟ පුද්ගලයෙකු අත්අඩංගුවට ගැනීමට කටයුතු කෙරිණි.
මෙම මෙහෙයුම මඟින් අත්අඩංගුවට ගන්නා ලද සැකකරු සහ මත් පෙති තොගය ඉදිරි නීතිමය කටයුතු සඳහා ගල්කිස්ස පොලිස් ස්ථානය වෙත භාර දිමට කටයුතු කෙරිණි.
