The Sri Lanka Coast Guard personnel in coordination with the officers of the Beruwala Police Station, arrested a person in possession of 07.537g of Crystal Methamphetamine (ICE) along with a motor bike while transporting for sale during a search operation carried out in Beruwala Fisheries Harbour on 09th June 2026.
Arrested person along with the Crystal Methamphetamine and motor bike were handed over to the Beruwala Police for further legal proceedings.
ශ්රී ලංකා වෙරළ ආරක්ෂක දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවට ලද බුද්ධි තොරතුකට අනුව බේරුවල පොලිස්ථානයේ නිලධාරීන් හා එක්ව 2026 ජුනි මස 09 වන දින බේරුවල ධීවර වරායේ සිදුකල විශේෂ ඒකාබද්ධ සෝදිසි මෙහෙයුමකදි අලෙවි කිරීම සඳහා සූදානම්කර යතුරු පැදියකින් ප්රවාහනය කරමින් තිබූ අයිස් මත්ද්රව්ය ග්රෑම් 07යි මිලි ග්රෑම් 537ක් සමඟ සැකකරුවෙකු (01) සහ යතුරු පැදියක් අත්අඩංගුවට ගැනීමට කටයුතු කෙරිණි.
මෙම මෙහෙයුම මඟින් අත්අඩංගුවට ගන්නා ලද සැකකරු, අයිස් මත් ද්රව්ය සහ යතුරු පැදිය ඉදිරි නීතිමය කටයුතු සඳහා බේරුවල පොලීසිය වෙත භාර දිමට කටයුතු කෙරිණි.
