SRI LANKA COAST GUARD JOINS COASTAL CLEANING PROGRAMMES IN LINE WITH WORLD COASTAL CLEANUP DAY
The Sri Lanka Coast Guard actively participated in a beach cleaning programme organized by the Department of Coast Conservation and Coastal Resource Management at Kirinda Beach Park on 15th September 2026..
This programme is part of a series of programmes organized by the Department of Coast Conservation and Coastal Resource Management in line with the World Coastal Cleanup Day, which falls on 19th September 2026.
The Sri Lanka Coast Guard remains steadfastly committed to the sustainable preservation of the coastal and marine ecosystems.
ලෝක වෙරළ පිරිසිදු කිරීමේ දිනයට සමගාමීව කිරින්ද වෙරළ උද්යානය පිරිසිදු කිරීමට වෙරළ ආරක්ෂක දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ සහය
වෙරළ සංරක්ෂණ සහ වෙරළ සම්පත් කළමනාකරණ දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව විසින් 2026 සැප්තැම්බර් මස 19 වන දිනට යෙදෙන ජගත් වෙරළ පිරිසිදු කිරීමේ දිනයට සමඟාමීව සංවිධානය කරන ලද වැඩසටහන් මාලාවේ එක් පියවරක් වන කිරින්ද වෙරළ උද්යානය පිරිසිදු කිරීමේ වැඩ සටහන සඳහා 2026 සැප්තැම්බර් මස 15 වන දින ශ්රී ලංකා වෙරළ ආරක්ෂක දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව අත්වැල් බැද ගනී.
වෙරළ කලාපයේ මෙන්ම සමුද්රීය පරිසරයේ තිරසාර පැවැත්ම වෙනුවෙන් නිරන්තරයෙන් කැපවන ශ්රී ලංකා වෙරළ ආරක්ෂක දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව ඉදිරියේදී සමුද්රීය පරිසරය සුරකීමේ වැඩසටහන් රැසක් ක්රියාවට නැන්වීමට සැලසුම් කර ඇත.
