OPERATIONAL CAPABILITIES EXHIBITED AT THE NSBM GREEN FUTURE EXPO 2026 EXHIBITION
The Sri Lanka Coast Guard (SLCG) participated in the NSBM GREEN FUTURE EXPO 2026, a green technology exhibition organized by the NSBM Green University, held at the university premises from 18th to 20th September 2026.
As a key stakeholder in safeguarding Sri Lanka’s maritime environment and ensuring maritime safety, the SLCG featured a dedicated stall showcasing oil spill response equipment, lifesaving gear, drones, and maritime emergency response capabilities.
The stall provided visitors with an opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of the specialized equipment, techniques, and procedures employed by the Coast Guard in protecting ocean resources and maritime emergencies.

NSBM හරිත විශ්වවිද්යාලය විසින් ප්රථම වරට සංවිධානය කරන ලද Green Future Expo 2026, හරිත තාක්ෂණික ප්රදර්ශණයට ශ්රී ලංකා වෙරළ ආරක්ෂක දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව සහභාගී වූ අතර, මෙම ප්රදර්ශණය 2026 සැප්තැම්බර් මස 18 සිට 20 වන දින දක්වා NSBM හරිත විශ්වවිද්යාල පරිශ්රයේ පැවැත්වීමට කටයුතු සංවිධානය කර ඇත.
ශ්රී ලංකාවේ සමුද්රීය පරිසරය ආරක්ෂා කිරීමේ සහ ආරක්ෂාව සහතික කිරීමේ ප්රධාන කොටස් කරුවෙකු ලෙස වෙරළ ආරක්ෂක දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව හදිසි තෙල් කාන්දුවකදී ප්රතිචාර දැක්වීම සඳහා භාවිතා කරන උපකරණ, ජීවිතාරක්ෂක උපකරණ සහ දිගු දුර නිරීක්ෂණ ඩ්රොන යානා ප්රදර්ශණය කල අතර, සමුද්රීය දුෂණය අවම කරමින් සාගර සම්පත් ආරක්ෂා කිරීම සඳහා වෙරළ ආරක්ෂක දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව විසින් සිදු කරනු ලබන කාර්යභාරය සම්බන්ධව වීඩියෝ දර්ශන මඟින් සිසුන්ට සහ ප්රදර්ශණය නැරඔීම සඳහා පැමිණෙන ජනතාවට අබබෝධයක් ලබා දීම මෙහිදී තව දුරටත් සිදු කෙරිණි.
