Negombo, Sri Lanka – In a swift operation, personnel from the Sri Lanka Coast Guard (SLCG) attached to a fishing monitoring point in Negombo have apprehended four fishermen who were found with an illegally captured 60 kg whale shark onboard the fishing vessel "BIYANI" during arrival formalities on 19^th October 2023.
