Sri Lanka Coast Guard Ship (SLCGS) Jayesagara celebrated its second anniversary on 23rd July 2024, with a series of events highlighting sportsmanship, spirituality, environmental care, and camaraderie. The celebrations, thoughtfully planned and executed over several weeks, reflected the ship's dedication to her crew and the broader community.
COAST GUARD PERSONNEL APPREHENDED ILLEGALLY TRANSPORT KENDU LEAVES
Based on information revealed by the Intelligence staff of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard Station Chilaw, a combined operation was carried out with Thoduwawa Police on 21st July 2024 and apprehended three FGD with 1910 kilograms of Kendu leaves.
