COAST GUARD APPREHENDS TUTRLE MEAT

Sri Lanka Coast Guard (SLCG) personnel deployed at Wellamankara Fishery Harbour for fishery monitoring and regulating duties arrested six persons whilst retaining 5.35 kg of turtle meat on 30th July 2023 during arrival inspections. The SLCG made the apprehension while the fish catch was being unloaded from the boat.
