COAST GUARD RESCUED AN INDIAN NATIONAL AT MIRISSA BEACH
The Lifesavers attached to Coast Guard Lifesaving Post Mirissa, saved an Indian lady in a successful rescue attempt on 20th December 2021.The lady of 25 years of age was rescued whilst drowning and dragging away by currents at Mirissa Beach.

Sri Lanka Coast Guard personnel deployed at Beruwala Fishery Harbour for fishery monitoring and regulating duties apprehended a Multiday Fishing Vessel along with seven fishermen in possession of illegally harvested Shark Fins on 12th December 2021.

COAST GUARD RESCUED A BOY AT RISK OF DROWNING AT PASIKUDA BEACH
The Life Savers attached to the Coast Guard Life Saving Post, Pasikuda rescued a 14 years old boy resident of Eravur, during a successful rescue attempt on 01st December 2021. He was rescued whilst drowning and dragging away by currents near to Pasikuda beach.
