The Lifesavers attached to Sri Lanka Coast Guard Lifesaving Post Pasikuda public beach saved a local during a successful rescue attempt on 01st January 2023.
The collective effort of Coast Guard personnel attached to Life-Saving Posts Mirissa, Hikkaduwa, Unawatuna, Wellawaththa, and Mount Lavinia recovered 1084 numbers of a Sea turtle eggs from places close to their natural habitat during the period from 25th to 31st December 2022.
