COAST GUARD RESCUED AN ITALIAN NATIONAL AT RISK OF DROWNING
The Life Savers attached to Coast Guard Lifesaving Post, Hikkaduwa rescued an Italian National, during a successful rescue attempt on 30th August 2022. A 29 years old male from Italy was rescued whilst drowning and dragging away by currents near Hikkaduwa beach.
