FIRST LIFESAVING JOINT TRAINING COURSE FOR ARMY, NAVY AND SLCG CONCLUDED SUCCESSFULLY
In view of improving the aquatic emergency response capabilities, a joint training course was conducted for the members of the Sri Lanka Army, Navy, and Coast Guard under the directives of the Director General-Sri Lanka Coast Guard (DG-SLCG).

BABY TURTLE RELEASED FROM SRI LANKA COAST GUARD HATCHERIES
Two hundred and six (206) turtle hatchlings have been hatched out from 237 turtle eggs conserved in various parts of the island under the Coast Guard Turtle Conservation Project (CGTCP).

The Lifesavers attached to Sri Lanka Coast Guard Life Saving Post, Panadura beach rescued a local male during successful rescue operation on 13th June 2022.
