BABY TURTLE RELEASED FROM SRI LANKA COAST GUARD HATCHERIES
Two hundred and six (206) turtle hatchlings have been hatched out from 237 turtle eggs conserved in various parts of the island under the Coast Guard Turtle Conservation Project (CGTCP).

NEW DEPUTY DIRECTOR GENERAL APPOINTED FOR COAST GUARD
Commodore Pujitha Vithana,USP, ndu has been appointed as the Deputy Director General of Sri Lanka Coast Guard with effect from 10th June 2022. Accordingly, former Deputy Director General Janaka Nissanka, RWP, RSP, USP, ndc, nswc, MSc(NS&WS) officially handed over the duties of the position to the new Deputy Director General at the Coast Guard Headquarters.
